Know Your Stars is a Sky gazing programme conducted on the evening of first Sunday of every month. It consists of a lecture in the Sky-theatre followed by night sky observations through telescopes and binoculars. During the course of lecture visitors are provided with a star chart and taught to how to use it for identifying stars, constellations etc.

Bangalore Association for Science Education (BASE) announces a special sky watching session which includes discussions on Stars, Constellations and other visible objects in the night sky at the Jawaharlal Nehru Planetarium. Viewing through telescope is possible provided the sky is clear. Charges Rs.150/- per head.
